Remarketing

Stay Ever-present in Your Prospects Minds

Staying top of mind or at the top to potential new customers is important part of staying relevant to them as they shop for a product or service.

What is remarketing?

Do you notice how you’ve been shopping online for a product, and then you stop what you’re doing, and hop on to Facebook, or end up reading an article on a news outlet, and sure enough, there’s that same product you were just looking at five minutes ago. That’s remarketing.

Remarketing allows your business to follow consumers across the internet, and keep your products and services fresh in consumer’s minds so that when the buying time has come, they buy from you instead of going on to purchase from a competitor. In terms of local businesses, many do not take advantage of this technology, nor do they even know it exists. They may know that it exists, because it happens to them when they are shopping online, but they do not know how to, or lack the understanding of how to implement such a service in their own marketing strategies.

Typically, when local businesses implement remarketing strategies, their business growth explodes quickly. Reason being that generally only large companies or e-commerce companies utilize remarketing. The vast majority of local businesses do not take part in this marketing strategy. So when they do, they stand out far and above from their competitors.

Sometimes potential customers visit your website to get some information and then get busy and lose the website they were on. Then they start all over again. Maybe they remembered you, but most likely they didn’t and just started searching again. By not remarketing to the people that have been on your website you are losing out on potential revenue, and allowing them to go to your competitors.

Also, when potential customer is checking out your website for more information, but is not ready to buy and then sees your ad on a major news network website like Fox News, CNN, or Time, you gain so much credibility with them and look like a major player in your industry. It shows that you know what you’re doing and are professional about your business. This goes a long way in converting potential buyers to new customers.

On average, it takes a customer seven times of seeing a business before it starts to stick in their head.  By remarketing to them, you continue to stay fresh in their mind and they know you’re there for them when they’re ready.
